I am trying to analyze
"What is that which makes people to buy a Share of a company" ? What makes the share of a company to grow ?
It is not the EPS , as EPS we get from any company is less than the Bank intrest rates.
It is the demand for the company that ticks its shares. But why the demand increases, if people know that EPS they get is not big pie ? What allures the people for that company and retain the shares ? why people demand more price for the shares ? How this concept of share market started and gained popularity, if they knew that EPS is the only thing they are gonna get from the share( at the inception, definitely these demands might no have been realised )?
Any thoughts ??
